It is the famous designer Jean-Charles de Castelbajac who realized the official poster of the new edition of the Longines Paris Eiffel Jumping. Faithful to her world, the artist also drew on her childhood memories to create a poetic poster paying homage to both the horse and Paris, two of the pillars of the Longines Paris Eiffel Jumping. The poster will be visible in the Capital from June 26th.
Two versions were made: one on a black background and the other on a white background.
Each year, the Longines Paris Eiffel collaborates with a new artist to realize his official poster. The event which hosts one of the most prestigious jumpings in the world is also an essential artistic and cultural rendez-vous. In 2017, the artist and graphic artist JonOne created the poster. "All my childhood, I was carried in my imagination by stories of horsemen, knights and musketeers. The horse, its beauty, its temerity, its extraordinary look, complicit in all our daring has always inspired me. Today it is a winged rider who arose in my mind, protector and bearer of hope whose only obstacle would be the rainbow. Himself symbol of peace and ultimate alliance, the Longines Paris Eiffel Jumping is an exceptional event where two living legends crystallize: the horse and Paris. Jean-Charles de Castelbajac.
A SCARF IN LIMITED EDITION
Jean-Charles de Castelbajac also imagined a headscarf inspired by the poster. Designed in the purest tradition of silk by a French house, it will be available in the Official Boutique of Longines Paris Eiffel Jumping from July 5th to 7th.
