The values of tradition, elegance and performance that are dear to you are also those highlighted by Virginie Coupérie-Eiffel and Jan Tops during this Parisian stage. How is it natural and obvious for you to support the LGCT-LPEJ for the past 6 years?

First of all, it is a source of pride for us to be Title Partner of the Longines Global Champions Tour - Longines Paris Eiffel Jumping since its inception, because it is an event that perfectly corresponds to these values of tradition, elegance and performance that are ours. This event combines top-level sport with exceptional horses and riders, and also highlights the elegance and glamour that characterize the French capital so well. Finally, tradition is also highlighted, since our brand's passion for the equestrian world began in 1869 with a watch engraved with a horse's head, retracing the link between the brand and the equestrian world in the early years of the Longines company in Saint-Imier. Through this competition, our ambition is to continue to bring this sport to the forefront of the international scene and allow the public to live unique experiences.

France, and Paris in particular, have a special place in your partnerships. Why is it important for you to be present in the capital?

The links between Longines and France, and more particularly Paris, are close and historic. In 1867, the first movement produced by Longines, the calibre 20A, was rewarded at the Universal Exhibition in Paris. This inaugurates an impressive list of achievements: Longines is the only brand in the world to have received 10 Grand Prizes at universal exhibitions. She was honoured with this prestigious title three times in Paris, in 1889, 1900 and 1925. In addition, in 1889, Longines participated in the Universal Exhibition in Paris, where the Eiffel Tower was built. Today, Longines must be present in a capital with an international reputation, such as the City of Light. In addition to the many distributors, we have two well-established Boutiques. Longines also shines in the French capital through numerous events. Indeed, several of our major events - notably equestrian events - take place in Paris and around the capital. Testimony of these historical and current links between Longines and France, a watch exclusive to France will soon be on the market!

In addition to your partnerships, you support a large number of charities throughout the year, particularly during the Longines Global Champions Tour - Longines Paris Eiffel Jumping. Can you tell us more about it?

Our brand supports many charities through the various partnerships it has formed over the years to promote the highest social ideals. That is why we are proud and honoured to collaborate with the charities of our Longines Ambassadors of Elegance, such as the Golden Hat Foundation co-founded by Kate Winslet, the Andre Agassi Foundation for Education and the Children for Tomorrow Foundation by Stefanie Graf. As part of the Longines Global Champions Tour - Longines Paris Eiffel Jumping, Longines is once again working alongside the JustWorld International association, which works to help the most disadvantaged children. This support will be materialized through the "Longines Clear The Jump" operation which will take place during the key competition on Saturday evening, the Longines Global Champions Tour Grand Prix de Paris. Indeed, each time a rider/horse couple crosses a Longines obstacle without fail, the equivalent of 200 meals will be offered to the association.
